Public transportation is the most useful for most of foreigners; the city is well served in the whole city. The lines are colligated, this way you do not need to get out of them until you arrive where you want.

The most important lines are: Central Line (red one), Piccadilly Line (dark blue one) and Victoria Line (light blue one), thus all lines are important for those who live in London. Each line is unique in its design and style. Example, the oldest ones are rustics and sometimes dirty. The newest ones, like Jubilee line, have automatics mirror doors with a modern design and cleaner stations. Taking from the tube, you can find the most famous sentence: "Mind the Gap".

In the station, a yellow sign written “Way Out” always indicates exits, which usually takes you to a escalator, if you want to stop, be in the right, because on the left people who are in a hurry or late will pass.

London also has the trains that connect the “big London” and the trains pass in pre determinate times.

The cheapest way of transport is the bus. Red with double floors they go into all city.

To save money, people buy weekly or monthly tickets. The most common ones are: Travel Card and Bus Pass. Their price change according to how many zones you need to cross. Travel Card allow you to use any transport (tube, train and bus), Bus Pass allow you to travel by bus only.

London is divided into six zones: 1st central London and then goes on until 6th. Zone 1 is the most expensive to avoid traffic and crowd tubes.
